Rickey and Karin’s Beautiful Wedding
Rickey and Karin had an elaborate wedding at the Chesapeake Conference Center in Chesapeake, VA. The wedding was complete with a Rolls Royce Limo ride to the wedding (separate of course), two cakes (one of which was as big as me), an awesome menu to choose from, a live song by a professional singer accompanied by a dance routine by a professional dancer, to the fabulous table accents and all of their wonderful family and friends that were there to celebrate their special day.. It was a very regal event to say the least.
The formal photos outside were a little rushed due to the sporadic rain that loomed overhead. It all came together however, and everyone had such great patience given the humidity and heat while being fully dressed. The cake was most definitely the centerpiece of the reception area. The bigger than life cake was as big as me and metaphysically took the cake! Not only was the cake enormous, it was most intricate and beautifully assembled with great detail.
They had a great wedding and I was honored to be chosen to photograph it for them. I had an awesome time with some wonderful people. Like I have said before, it rained and shined so I imagine they got the best of both worlds since it said to be lucky for it to rain on your wedding day.
