What is a Bridal Session?
The history goes back Europe, but the South has made this a tradition for decades. Basically, it is a photo session centered around the Bride to be in her wedding gown that takes place prior to the actual wedding date.
When should you do a Bridal Session?
The sooner the better! You need to leave at least six weeks before your wedding date in case you want to have them printed and on display at the wedding.
Where should you have them taken?
Location, location, location! I have go to locations that will accommodate your needs. I am open for new places and encourage those ideas. I need you to want the scenery and mood that you want and I love collaboration. Luckily, here in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, we have many options from Mountains to the Sea.
Should you bring someone to help you?
Absolutely! If two heads are better than one, than three is even better.
What you should bring.
You, your smile, your shoes and your wedding dress. You can bring along a faux bouquet similar to the real one that you will have on your wedding day. I will provide the white sheet that protects your gown from dirt or mud in case I need you to get down and dirty.
How long is a session?
My Bridal sessions last about 1.5 to 2 hours.

1 Week or sooner.
How many photos will you see?
On average, 150.
What are the advantages of doing a Bridal Session?
First and foremost you get to walk around in something that you will be walking around in all day and night. You may find that adjustments may be needed for your gown, hair or makeup.
